JOB TITLE:

Innovation Specialist

SUMMARY:

Under Innovator’s guidance, develop the new products in the lab based on the customer’s needs from the marketing to contribute to the business unit’s sales growth. Meanwhile providing support on the professional test timely to contribute the customer’s satisfaction and loyalty.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Execute development project requested by business group (EMS). Actively communicate with business group and provide NPD ideas. Participate in scale up production process and work with process engineering group to improve quality and extend product offering. Conduct the trials as plan, make a clear experiment record 50%

· Test the lab samples and analyze the testing result 20%

· Communicate with Team Leader timely on the issues and progress and prepare the weekly report 15%

· Purchase chemicals/ devices, maintain device and lab 5S 10%

· Other works assigned by the direct supervisor. 5%

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master’s degree in Materials Science/Material Engineering/Chemical Engineering

· Well-developed analytical skills: ability to design, set-up, perform and interpret experiments.

· MS Office Software skill

· Be able to work well in a multi-cultural Research and Development Team both in China and various Roger’s locations in other countries.

· Knowledge of polymer is a strong plus. Experiences on polyurethane / silicone / Coating/ Film are preferred.

· Experiences on chemical lab is preferred.
